The situation for muslims in Märsta is unsustainable!
Since the resolution of the Swedish fire department authorities that more than 15 people cannot be in our mosque premise at the same time, almost ALL our activities have stopped.
In the mosque was held. . .
- Friday prayers for over 300 people.
- Lessons in tajweed for about 100 people.
- Lessons for youth and children.
- Taraweeh prayer in Ramadan.
Today we hire temporary premises for Friday sermons and Taraweeh in Ramadan, but everything else has come to halt.
Briefly about us ...
Märsta Mosque was founded in February 1999 by a handful of Muslims in Sweden and today it has more than 400 members from over 20 different ethnicities. Märsta Mosque is politically independent and follows Islam according to Ahl-assunnah wa al-Jama'ah.
We need to buy a premise or land for Mosque construction immediately in order to continue our activities again. For that, your help is needed!
